Time management, reminders and smart phones

We all have the latest apps....

But, are we really utilising some of the most basic features available?

Effective people have many habits.
- One being they are very good at managing their time and getting the most out of their days and weeks.

I want to focus on one small element of time management;
-The routine or recurring tasks.

We know we need to do them but sometimes, other 'urgent' work comes along and pushes these down on our mental to-do lists and they over-flow onto the next day, or next week.

Examples:
- Work timesheets
- Putting out the wheelie bins
- Doing some push ups or squat exercises during lockdown
- Creating a to-do-list for the day/week etc 🙄

Seeing we're attached to our smartphones 24/7 (for better or worse), there is a simple solution.

Use the calendar feature.
Enter an event and save it to be recurring as required
Set the pop-up reminder notifications for however in advance it is needed.
- This is key. Why? Because we are already used to the action of acknowledging notifications.

Effective reminders can help make you go from being slightly time poor to being more organised.

Have a great day!
