Imposter Syndrome

Imposter Syndrome

"What am I doing here?"
"I'm such a fraud"
"I don't deserve to be in this in position"

Imposter Syndrome is real.

Self-doubt and second guessing who you are OR how you landed that role, or project, or title can negatively affect our mental well-being.

Sometimes we end up in our circumstances through chance encounters or as I call it "a sequence of fortunate events".

What has helped me?
- Learning to embrace change,

Nothing is permanent.
- That project will finish,
- Team members will move,
- The company direction or strategy may change

Through changes, opportunities will come and go. Some may favour you, and others may not.

Go with the flow and take it easy.
You very likely DO deserve that position, you just don't believe it yet. Give it time and you'll see.
