I don't know what I want
Have you got life figured out?
Umm - maybe...
In my opinion there are two BROAD categories of people;
1. Knowing what you want -
Great! You are in a minority.
Very few of us are able to articulate and map out our goals and wants.
However... I bet that most people fall into the second category;
2. Knowing what we do NOT want - Not ideal but not bad either.
There is no harm in moving forward with the intent of not wanting certain things, careers, etc. It may help to narrow the list of possible things you may want.
Deliberate learning, shortlisting of what we want/don't want will help you fall into the first group.
Getting into the habit of learning from our past experiences to drive our future decisions can also take time, but it needs a little practice and perseverance.
Doesn't matter if you don't have everything figured out.
Life is a discovery. Making mistakes, having successes is all part of it and it applies to all facets of what we do. Career, jobs, family, kids, travel, food etc.
Have a great day.
